We make a pad for every saddle made. If we don't have it we will make it.  Foam density is a key in regards to comfort, support and durability. We offer two types of density one for light to mid weight range and one that will support a heavier weight range. For the Treeless Saddle advocate, all of our foam inserts are beveled to eliminate pressure points and allow your leg to lay closer to the animal. Skito has also developed laminated foam inserts for spinal protection, Lexan inserts for penetrating seat bones. We have over 600 saddle pad patterns and make saddle pads for all treed and treeless saddle. “DRYBACK®” is an Equalizer™ Saddle Pad by Skito that is constructed to release heat and moisture from the large back muscle to the atmosphere. Air flows between the saddle and saddle pad thanks to the addition of 3M™ Nomad™  matting to the top of the saddle pad.  Simply put, the exclusive Skito wool efficiently wicks the heat-laden perspiration to the open cell foam insert, which acts as a dense sponge pulling moisture and heat away from the animal to the surface of the pad.  In the past the heat and moisture stopped in the top layer of the saddle pad because the saddle became an obstacle to transpiration. The addition of Nomad™ matting enables air to flow under the saddle to evaporate the moisture and dissipate the heat normally trapped against the saddle.   sadd

Every Skito Saddle pads has a Velcro Opening. 
Front load, Rear load and Top load and it  refers to the placement of the Velcro opening.

What is a "Front Load"? It's designed for both Treeless and Treed saddles.
The pad opening is in the front of the pad.

 What is a "Top Load" opening is directly above the spine and is used for treed saddles only!
Skito will never recommend a top load opening pad for a treeless saddle!
